DECATUR, IL – The Macon County Health Department (MCHD) will host a drive-thru flu vaccination clinic for individuals ages 19 and older on Friday, October 9, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The clinic will be held at the Macon County Health Department, located at 1221 E. Condit St., Decatur, IL 62521.

The clinic will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Individuals ages 19–64 will receive the standard-dose flu vaccine, while adults ages 65 and older will receive the high-dose flu vaccine.

Attendees should:

• Enter from E. Orchard St. and turn left onto N. Lowber St.
• Be 19 years of age or older.
• Bring a photo ID and insurance card or relevant insurance information.
• Wear a short-sleeved shirt for easier access to the upper arm.

Flu Vaccine Options

• Fluzone®: Standard flu vaccine for individuals ages 6 months and older.
• Flublok®: Recombinant, egg-free flu vaccine for adults ages 18 and older.
• Fluzone® High-Dose: A higher-dose flu vaccine designed specifically for adults ages 65 and older.
