Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage Plan Open Enrollment Events for 2025 Coverage

DECATUR, IL- The Macon County Health Department will be hosting Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage Plan Open Enrollment Events. These events will be held on October 22nd, November 12th, November 26th, and December 3rd from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Residents can review their plans at no cost, though donations are accepted.
Trained SHIP counselors will assist Medicare beneficiaries with reviewing their Medicare prescription drug plan or Medicare advantage plan options. It is very important for Medicare beneficiaries to review their drug coverage yearly to ensure they are receiving the most cost-effective coverage. Participants are required to schedule an appointment to attend an event and should bring their Medicare cards and a complete list of medications, including dosage and frequency taken.
