Mokeypox Virus (MPV)

What is Monkeypox (MPV)?

MPV is a viral infection transmitted through close, personal contact, including kissing, sex, and other skin-to-skin or face-to-face contact. Fatality during the current outbreak is estimated to be very low.


Key Symptoms: rash, bumps, or blisters

Other Symptoms: fever, headaches, muscle aches, and swollen lymph nodes


What can you do?

- Stay informed

- Contact your healthcare provider

- Isolate
