Macon County Health Department COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic Opportunities 

The following clinic opportunities are available next week. Please make note of specific age requirements for these clinics. A person should not attend a vaccine clinic if they have tested positive for COVID-19 in the past 10 days. 

 

Tuesday, March 8, 2022 

  • Location: Macon County Health Department, 1221 E Condit Street, Decatur, IL 62521 
  • Time: 8:30-11:30 a.m. 
  • Vaccine Type: Pfizer, Moderna and Johnson & Johnson – 1st, 2nd and booster doses 
  • Clinic Type: Appointment preferred; walk-ins accepted. 
  • Ages: This clinic is for those 5 years and older. 
  • Please bring insurance card if possible. 
  • To schedule an appointment, persons should email cv19vax@maconchd.org and include their name, date of birth, phone number, and parent name if person is under 18 or call (217) 423-6988 ext. 1100. 
  • Second dose appointments will be scheduled during your first dose appointment, if needed. 


Wednesday March 9, 2022 

  • Location: Richland Community College, 1 College Park, Decatur 
  • Time: 9:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. 
  • Vaccine Type: Pfizer and Moderna – 1st, 2nd and booster doses 
  • Clinic Type: Appointment preferred; walk-ins accepted. 
  • Ages: This clinic is for those 12 years and older. 
  • Please bring insurance card if possible. 
  • To schedule an appointment, persons should email cv19vax@maconchd.org and include their name, date of birth, phone number, and parent name if person is under 18 or call (217) 423-6988 ext. 1100. 
  • Second dose appointments will be scheduled during your first dose appointment, if needed.

Persons are eligible for booster doses if they received their 2nd dose at least: 

  • 5 months prior for Moderna (18+) and Pfizer (12+) 
  • 2 months prior for Johnson and Johnson (18+)
